Please, note that in Latin America it is common to refer to one´s parents as ´mamá´ and ´papá´, like in the UK. However, in Spain we only use these familiar terms when talking to members of our closest family, like our brothers, sisters and grandparents. Otherwise, we  use the general terms ´madre´ and ´padre´.

Also, ´esposo/a´ are terms more commonly used in LAm for ´husband/wife´.

In Spain, the terms ´marido´ and ´mujer´ are more common nowadays.
